MOUNT OLIVE YOUTH NEWS - April 2007 - #53

And the angel answered and said unto the woman, fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus which was crucified. He is not here: he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.” Matthew 28:5-6

If God is Dead...

God created everything on earth (read Genesis 1). He is master of it all.  Throughout the years mankind has tried to duplicate, discredit, and explain the power of God. They think their “creations” are success stories. But nothing can compare to anything that God produces!

God still moves today. “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning..” (Lamentations 3:22-23)

Life, death, sunrise, sunset, wind, rain, snow, sleet, hail, sunlight, moonlight, tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, avalanches, fires, and floods are signs that God lives. When you pray, who answers your prayers? God does, so He must be alive! Faith and belief that He was born, crucified, and rose again are the keys. (Mark 16:6, Luke 2:11 & 21)

The song “God is not dead says if God is dead what makes the flowers bloom, what makes summer come in June, who listens and answers prayer, who can tell me about life,  you can feel him in the wind and breeze, in the trees, You can feel Him in the night, in the stars that shine so bright. If God is dead what makes life worth living. I am glad I know He lives, He lives!”

Thank God, He lives inside of you and me everyday!

“And he saith unto them. Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen: he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.” Mark 16:6
