The Missionary Society of the Mount Olive Baptist church has a twofold purpose; first, we endeavor through bible study, prayer and Christian fellowship to "build up" the women of God in the church family.  And second, to extend Gods love to women of the world by ministering to women in battered women's shelters, jail, and in any situation were the promises of God will enrich their lives.

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:
        Ephesians 4:11-13

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving!
